  1. Really? With 5 in the brain and close to 30 landed on the head/neck. I feel very comfortable at 40 all day long. And no I didn’t. I’m going with the 410z
Yeah really , I think your choke can do better honestly I've seen way better tss 410.

That's why I asked after I gave a compliment on it being "not to bad" at 40 ...... Butt hurt?

  2. I thought a couple years ago ( 4) when this was all going down at the meeting they said our reproductive numbers in the States are not good?

Now all this Canada stuff is what we're going to base it off of GPS birds in canada ? I could see more birds in new York and pa being GPS trackers on to see where these birds are going and reproduction and breeding because those are the ones we are losing the breeding pairs too correct??? Those are the ones we're concerned about?

  3. Nice job kill all them "bird nesting destroyers" #savetheturkeys . Crows kill lots of turkey nests each year. 1 crow could be a flock of birds .....

Can't beat a good crow hunt !!! [emoji23]. It is a good time! Not bad for a bait pile hunt. Get on a flight and it's a blast. Scout bird , it doesn't matter if u shoot the scout they will come back to the dead 1 if they are going to come back . Give it some time out there could be a lull between flights. Decoys are good to have. Make them look as real as possible , as in how they are sitting . Do some reading and u will be amazed how smart these birds are . For a call try feeding frenzy or a destress call . Got out a couple times this year but not as much as I would like to. PXL_20220107_155014137.jpg

  4. Hit the public swamp solo again. This morning was a lot more of a duck day , high winds, overcast with some grit mixed in. More ducks flying today than yesterday. Unfortunately most of them were mergs , a couple nice size flocks of mallards going out to feed but some stopped by to visit. I gave a 3 pack of geese a couple honks to keep them inline looking and down my 1 [emoji23].PXL_20211222_135156735.jpg

  5. We were able to put a good mixed bag together yesterday and was finally fortunate enough to kill my #1 target bird this year! My first Redhead. I'm looking to get this guy mounted, Amy suggestions on someone who does quality work on birds?

Wild encounters, Jeff frisby . I just got back my greenwing and gadwall and was happy with both. I'm taking my pintail and gadwall there for dead mount . IMG_20211012_193448.jpg

  6. I did some scouting the past couple days in the swamp. I saw about 20 shovelers feeding a couple days in a row and with most of the backwaters frozen today was the day to try before things open up again and they feed elsewhere . The Mallard's wanted another spot than us but my buddy and I had them shovelers fly over and we dumped 2 . I lost sight of them 2 nice drakes in the flock as they were coming in [emoji107].
