I'll try there next time I have the confidence in the bay. Got out today off the loop lot out from the cattails. Ran a line out to the middle, deepest hole was 1 1/2 fow. Crazy low. I'm done with the bay for the year.

Most winter fish "cold water "taste way better than summer. Also most people don't have a boat to fish lake/spots to get the fish they are looking for.

Not for nothing I agree with most of what u have to say.
But most people don't have a boat or caught a fish around 15lbs, so if there is a place u can get on the ice to fish for a fish of a lifetime " not just the record . I plan on fishing there before the year is over.

Caught a decent northern on conesus that had it's gills hanging out , looked horrible. I bet the guy that caught it before me said this things not going to live........ Well it's fine as can be with all that damage. C and R works !!
There's enough smaller pike and pickerel to keep to eat for those that like them but it is what it is.

No flags back there "tavern" but off the launch it was 6 to 7 foot. To the left there is a beaver hut ice is really thin near it. There has to be pike back there it's 1 of the deepest parts. Maybe next time

Back to conesus with the wife . We ran 14 flags at the North end. Not 1. I did see something worth the drive... Two couples come out and fish next to us, guy pulls out a DeWalt drill with a 1-in drill bit and goes to town and then pulls out a 20-lb sludge hammer till he gets through. It made my day I laughed so hard. I ended up going over and drilling two holes for him. I told him I would have came over and drilled before he started but I want him to show his wife he can do it. [emoji23] He laughed .
Stay away snow.

O my god what a day at the conesus zoo, just no dam RESPECT anymore. If you were out there u heard me loud and clear this morning.
I got a wheeler ride out to the spot I wanted to fish . Nobody around and the whole lake is open (640am) . I put my orange bucket down and drill a hole every 20 yards tip-ups in a line. Well at hole 4... I see 2 guys by my bucket" looking" around . So I walk back so they kinda get the point" I'm right there". so the guy decided to put his tip-ups right by my bucket..... I wouldn't care if he acknowledged me and said hi ... Good morning......" but no no respect . I said" alot of lake here A" ? He set up still after I yelled at him. I just let it go, if u can believe that . Took couple min tho. Lol he did 2 northerns before me and the tipup next to me he got a fish off of.
Well for my fishing day i did 2 nice northerns . Not as big as Thursday but ok fish . Enough to get 1st place pike and yes both fish were released after weigh-in for another day.
I would be nice to see people say hi if they are close to you. Better to work together than against. And when I'm in a tournament I'm against so stay the hell away. Lmfao [emoji38]
We had to drive the four-wheeler back through people's tip-ups and I was saying come here fishy fishy what else can you do. Should have tried the park in Rev method.

Good bite today for me , had to throw the candy at them. Had 4 flags 2 took in the weeds and stole my bait before I got there. The others were 37 and 36in . Both released for someone else to catch. I didn't see much of anything else going on .

Gator , I got that picture for you . First laker with the rod you just built me "awesome" !! Probably a 4lber. Had some other chasers. Released for another day. Better spud if u plan on going to the trout lakes ice varied quick.

Not to bad at all . Bare spots then punching through 4-in of crusty snow with possible slush in certain areas but easy for the most part. I would say 2 in of crusty snow for an average. I walked 1.25 miles out so it wasn't too bad.

braid to "swivel"to fluorocarbon , keeps lures from spinning when u stop jigging. Swivel most important part.

Fished sodus sat and today , all the 8 to 9in perch u want with an occasional 10 . Lol can't believe the amount of them in there. Ice was 6in where I was fishing

Buddy and I got out this morning set up on the wrong side of the street first thing . Had to pick up and move to the thicket. Hide was a little rough but once the sun came out they couldn't pick us out . Found 43 of them in the snow.

Went to honeoye for the afternoon bite. Lots of Little gills and crappies. 10 nice gills but all lived to see another hook. 3 to 4in of junk then 5in of ice .

Went out to conesus yesterday with a buddy and ran 14 flags , ran or run is what we didn't do tho [emoji23]. 5in of ice 8fow "north end". The gills I saw caught by guys next to me were transparent.

I think it's paying off . Buddy of mine did well in the fall and said the numbers are up for sure. Let's keep them small bass and keep putting in them walleye. Night fishing I gave that up as well . First light is the best for me.
