Went to honeoye yesterday with a buddy and his kid, ran some flags for bass and pickerel . Buddy's kid got 2 flags first thing in the morning both walleyes , 1 keeper and 1 throw back. Hour later I got a flag and another keeper eye. Not 1 bass or pickerel.... Not complaining 1 bit about that [emoji23]. Ice was 5 to 6in

Hit oneida this morning . First time on the ice for me, feels good to get on the hardwater. Fishing was good on the morning then slowed down . Lots of short eyes and some nice perch. Ice varied use spud .

Found a decent feed yesterday while scouting . Got permission from the farmer and neighboring property and got the ok . Most of the flights were big . I wish they were broken up a little more so your not educating the whole flock. Ended with 37 and probably a handful of cripples.

I like my HT rods, too. Not as much as the two of you, obviously. But I only use them in shallow water, since I find that the parabolic bend of the light glass makes cranking up a crappie to get back down onto the school fast a bit...tricky.
 
Kev, you should let me build you a rod and see if I can change your mind lol.

The HT's do leave a bit desired with lake trout on the other end too so Keith has a point[emoji38]

Lmfao .... HT is all I use for panfish, 30" light blue ice rod with a ghost free fall 2lb line. I tried so many kinds and keep going back to the HT blue ice for "panfish".

Sat and sun hunted the quarry , Saturday couldn't hunt to long buddy's had to check out and go back up north. We got 3 blacks and 2 mallards. Sunday we got 3 geese and 2 blacks and a mallard. Not a bad end to a awesome season again. I was blessed with 4 banded ducks this year, limits and no limits and to do all this with great friends is the best !!!!! Can't wait till next season [emoji106]!!!! #LONGSPURSNEXT

Down to the creek again . We had to wait a little bit this time. Warm ups have other spots open so I think some of the birds are looking for new areas . Had a flock of geese fly by and we sky busted 1 out of it. As always great morning !!!

We all went down to the farm pond today, fast action at first light then it slowed down. Managed to pull off our limit of Mallards. Had to wait till 10 for that last 1. Great day !!!

We went back to the cory this morning , didn't stay for the blacks to come back . Shot our mallards and 1 black and decided to leave it for next weekend. Love late season fat mallards!!

Did a combo hunt this morning with a buddy. Went to his old Cory which normally holds lots of blacks around this time of year with some mallards . As always they were there. Buddy got a solo hen . Then we had a flock come in and we went 6 for 6 . 4 blacks , 1 hen and a drake. Awesome shooting !!
Back in the truck at 730 going to hunt #2 crow smash. Got all set up and had a blast , can't believe how stupid they can be...... LMFAO [emoji1787] 47 with some sailers !! Great day!!
