It's a wicked lake at times, guy I worked with got swept off Rocks in Marquette during last big, storm couple weeks ago. Still haven't found him or the gal he was with. Almost 29' wave recorded that day. Be lucky if they ever do find them. RIP but no picture is worth that risk.

RIP Bob Anderson, The mighty Lake Superior finally gave him up, after nearly a month , took him and a friend out with one big swoop. Worked with Bob some time ago, he should have known better, but the lure of big waves brought him out with his camera. At least now, the family can put him to rest. Be careful out there, those lakes can be the end of any of us, not using our noodles.

Sorry for your loss Pap, lost my Dad almost 5 yrs ago. Isn't a fishing trip I go on he isn't there, cause I know if he was here he would have been on 90% of them. Impossible to replace, be thankful you had him for as long as you did. Condolences to you and the Family.
PS Dad would always say "Here today gone tomorrow", and if I remember right those were his last words he spoke to me. After I bicxed at him for going to work two days after he had a stent in heart placed!! Darn guy was right again, words to live by.

My Wife Aimee got her first buck yesterday. She made a great shot and the post shot shakes were priceless.
She is hooked for sure. Nothing huge but couldn't be happier,. and he will eat just fine.

That is even better, love to see young people getting out. Boy if she can top that beauty, especially on public land. That is all I hunt and man is it horrible when things get messed by other people.

Might not qualify since its from 2014 but I have to laugh every time I see it. My fiance came home while I was boiling this skull. She wasn't too happy with me....not sure why.

Funny part, I was running the large Cowbells with a spin glo and wasn't getting touched, other rod with spinnie has been on fire. Changed out the Cowbells for a spinnie- 15 minutes later, the big one hit it.

Thanks to you his site and Gambler, tied up some double spin glows last year in multiple patterns. One of those in glow / green, behind 8" Mt. Dew/ white Spin Dr. Has been just on fire for me. Same rod has been responsible for over 20 fish last few trips. Best part about Superior is the vastness, saw two boats, only one was fishing. Think we had 7 Lakers , a Splake, and a small king, yesterday. 10 Lakers last trip. The scenery is second to none!

Yes the Chamberlain releases are neat, but what if you go over a reverse magnetic field, and all your rods release at once, and now you can't reverse the there polarity??[emoji38]
Pap, probably more apt to have some aliens drop off a Bigfoot in your boat to eat some Jack's Links.
