kyle1800, no boat was sold in 2020. Runs great and is a solid set-up for salmon trolling.
There is a small chance it may be for sale in 2023 but with a new $4000 Honda 4-stroke 9.9 (and other add-ons with a total of $9k), it won't be for the original price of $10,500.
Thanks for looking.

Perhaps good problems to have. Good luck!I know it is networked with with my GPS but I haven’t figured out yet how it all works together. I guess I really need to just put some hours on the boat without rods in the water to get familiar with everything. Those rods going off just keep getting in the way of playing with the boat.

Steve, if you have the carb looked at by a professional, at least you can rule that out. I had similar problems as you. The engine would start very easily but with the engine warmed up and running under load it would choke and die. It was the carb. Obviously I can't say for sure that your problem is the same but the behavior of my engine was the same.
I highly recommend Tom Toal in Ontario, NY for all carb work. Hopefully he is still taking on new work. He is the GM engineer that worked for GM for something like 40-50 years. He is the engineer that actually designed the carbs for GM. He knows everything there is to know about carbs. Quick turn around time, very good pricing, and all of the stories come for free (and he has many).

Nice! In a lot of places, you do not see that many greys (although they are there).

Thanks Rob

Can anyone point me to the official press release that states that the 2022 show is cancelled?

Chris, said like a true gentleman, which you truly are.I really hate to see a post on this forum, that a good deal of us hop onto daily/weekly to read and learn about a sport that we love and/or to get away from the daily stress of the outside world, head in this direction. The world is torn on this issue. The data can be misrepresented and the information disseminated a bit misleading. Absolutely be objective, be inquisitive but make your own decisions (when not mandated). I highly doubt that any arguing back and forth between members on this page will actually lead to a change in opinion but rather a place to vent. We are all frustrated in how long this has gone.
If you got the vaccine and corresponding booster - I support you. If you are unvaccinated - I've got your back.
Lets get back to planning for the 2022 season
This discussion is like watching a train wreck. You hate what is happening but somehow you just can't look away.
There are better forums than an outdoor forum to discuss devisive topics like politics (which this largely revolves around) and other topics that drive wedges between us rather than unite us (e.g. LOU).
And before any of you say "hey, you don't have to look, you don't have to participate", you are correct. Hopefully all future posts about politics and the pandemic will have appropriate titles so I can opt-out, train wreck or no train wreck.
Looking forward to the Niagara show where hopefully nobody tries to push their personal agenda down our throats.
Best wishes to all for a safe and successful 2022 fishing season and reaping the benefits of additional salmon stocking in the coming years.

Nice job! At least one or two more turkeys next year. What scope did you use?

Wow, what a story. A life lesson for sure. Hopefully this story can save someone else from injury (or possibly worse).
It is easy to get a little complacent at times after doing the same thing for many years without an incident.
Glad you are OK and back in the saddle!

Hi Chris,
Many great patterns here (which I mostly have already).
How much for the Trollers Handbook and Craftsman screwdriver?

Bill, both very nice fish caught during a difficult bite. Well done! I was timid about fishing that far out of temp. I guess the trick, like with hunting sometimes, is to target a different species. Go deer hunting and shoot a bear...go turkey hunting and shoot a deer. From now on I am fishing for perch or sheepshead.

Next time, I will get the gel. And yes, gloves are required. It is a strong formula.

I used Starbright Instant Hull Cleaner. Works great but unlike On and Off, it is not a gel and isn't scented. On the good side, you can dilute it to make it last longer if needed.
Good luck with the new-to-you boat!

I heard you have to use a special knot with the D rig. Problem is, he won't tell us what it is.

Congrats Rick and as always, thanks for the detailed report!
But I gotta say, you guys are killing me. 2 years ago it was Carbon 14. Last year is was DUV 2-Face and everybody sold out. This year it is Rod Father...next year Double Harpoon Ghillie Monster...
If I could just get a Gary-D, even at $100, it would save me a ton of money. As it is, I need to buy a dingy to pull behind the boat just to carry the lures and equipment. (I know...catch the fish...or catch the fisherman) My guess is that you would still do well with just a randomly twisted paper clip on the end of the line. Spending time on the water...can't buy that, gotta earn it.
Joking aside, thanks again and best of luck this season.
