  1. I just picked up a nice 19 ft open bow boat with a 3.0 mercruiser and I found out the hard way that the alternator isn't charging. Will that cause it to run kindve crappy. It sat a little while we drained all the gas and put fresh gas and with a good charged battery it ran great tonight then after the radio was on and lights depth finder it slowly started breaking up and wouldn't go over 20mph. I'm thinking maybe the inconsistent voltage isn't giving proper volts to the coil. Any insight would be great thanks in advance

  2. No picking on my drawing lol we found 2 trolling rods that small barrel swivels will fit through the eyes of the rods and we had regular trolling reels with line counters and set depth and alternated one side if it was set at a 100' we would set the other side to 90' and cover more of the water. We always used Sutton spoons. But with all the different brands we try everything

  4. If it were me I'm a cannon guy, I started with the crankers and it didn't take long to get a set of mag 10's I paid $350.00 for the pair, I searched on eBay, Craigslist, on here, finally I found the ones I have today yet. There was a set of cannons for sale on here not to long ago. Scotty's are good also, it's a Chevy vs. Ford like mentioned above. Hang in there in due time something will come about soon.

Chevy is the best there isn't really any comparison lol

  5. Cayuga Lake

We were supposed to go ice fishing but we ended up changing plans a little bit and we got my boat out early for my son's annual birthday fishing trip.  It was a little chilly this morning and rough but the sun came out and lake calmed down and we managed to get this Laker  in the boat.  I was pretty much fishing blind due to my fish finder not reading depth and not marking fish at all.

  6. I have the church planer boards after buying my boat last spring and everything else I didn't have alot of money for planer boards.  They work good on calmer water and lighter tackle but I'm definitely purchasing bigger ones mine don't really get away from the boat nearly as far as I'd like and if it's choppy they don't work well at all
