Ran to Wallenpaupack yesterday in search of what ever bites. Had my nephew, stepson and his friend from the PSP. Took both boats, still trying to follow some protocol. Great day on the water, slow fishing but had to leave before the evening bite because all Pa state police were activated. Rick and his partner Ryan took off for Harrisburg, 2 1/2 hr hump. Traded his fishing gear and flip flops for riot gear and headed for Philly. So much for social distancing.

Just got back from Ocmd, very few bass mostly shad, waiting on a big push off blues to start sharking

Beautiful steels. Is there a rule of thumb for heavier spoons? Such as distance from balls. Have a couple in the box that used to be my stepfathers. Purple chrome, green and blue silver hammered. Never used them much, kinda of sentimental. Should probably take him fishing.

As a weekend warrior I have never put that puzzle together but I will say that I depend on my down speed and cable angle . The other part of the puzzle I wish I understood is why they will hit only going one direction at the same down speed ? Frustrating, but I love it !!
