What's the weather and wave update for this weekend? I'm seeing mostly south easterly 10 to 15 with 1' or less. Sounds risky for a solo suicide run, but coho's are hard to resist. If they're in closer than the 100 might be doable.

Oh, it’s not always pretty, that’s for sure! I think about half the time there is only one rod in the water... My autopilot system is slightly glitchy. I’m having trouble finding the software update for a 2x6 piece of pine wedged against the deck!

Tons of info here chicong. Definitely want a pair of those fish weights breaking bass. I tell myself all the time that if the fish aren't willing to run a boat length to strike they're just not interested. It's the challenge that keeps you in the game. Lol

Good thing I run 2 sonars. Now if I could just insert smiley faces for fish marks I'd really know what was going on.
To get back on topic, it's tough on a small rig to go heavy. Lots of time spent figuring out what's happening below. Once you put some on board it starts to click.

Ok, now I'm really confused. I run 8 and 10lb balls on cannon hand cranks. All good input here. So if I mark fish at 100 , have my sensitivity turned up to pick up balls and the balls are at 100 with 110' of cable out for blow , and the sonar is inaccurate. Then what depth are the fish?

Thanks for checking on me Logger. Pretty rollie on Sunday morning but lake got pretty nice in the evening. Tough fishing, full screens between 135 and 150. Took a few temp probes, seems like they were all hugging bottom in 53 to 60 °. Threw the boat at them. Need a good easterly to bring some cooler water in shore. It'll be fast and furious for sure. Don't know if I'll be up again. 0 for 3 this season. Good luck all, appreciate the laughter.

So would you say the lake “Flipped” after the hard blow last weekend? Temp has been way down and offshore all year pretty much. I Recently got a fish hawk so I’m payin more attention to temps. In other words this weekend I dont have to motor out 15miles.lol. And the fish are gonna b staging up.  Pretty much this is what we needed on the east end all year. Am I almost right???
