Hi Horsehunter

looking for weekend fishing for the month of July i am willing to drive 3 hrs if it means bigger catch and new adventure and learn down-rigger technics

other option is to go on a charter and maybe reduce the learning curve. I know that from Montreal to lake Ontario there is plenty of water to fish in but no salmon 

Where do you recommend for us to go that we would be closer to our goal

Hi, I live in Montreal and would like to try some salmon fishing this summer.  I was wondering if I fished leaving the Kingston area, is there any salmon or steel heads there. 

we have a chaparral 23.5 foot boat and 2 electric down-riggers if some one in Kingston wants to join us and make new fishing friends

What about lake Champlain it closer to Montreal and deep for trolling what is your input on that lake? Just looking for a location to end the season with a descent catch

Hello everyone my name is Frank (Chico).

I am from the Greater Montreal Area i'm a Big boating and fishing fanatic this year i'm new to trolling i have a 23.5 foot Chaparral modified for fishing equipped with 2 electric Big John Down-riggers. I'm always looking to learn something new about fishing so will appreciate all advice you can give me. looking for Salmon, Trout and Chinook fishing off of Kingston Ontario.

we are a small group of fishing buddy's from Montreal that go fishing in lake Ontario off of Kingston Ontario   we are always looking for new people to meet up with and have fun fishing
