  1. Nice over cast day . Started in 150 temp was too hot 75 down was 65 degrees 200 fow 80 down was warm too. Eventually set up in 250 fow hour with not bites was heading out deeper when a meat rig dipsy 178 feet out took a hit had my girlfriend move the 300 copper over for room to fight it when the copper gets slammed OH BOY! 2 kings on and no one to drive the boat and unfortunately forgot the net. Coached my girl while I was reeling in my king landed it and quickly and released it to focus on the second. Both kings caught in 255 fow. 300 copper had a bloody nose moonshine and dipsy had a 11 inch pro troll with meat rig. Only caught the 2 worked out to 400 and then tried for Lakers in 110 fow lots of bait and fish but no lakers should of just tried for cohos and browns in shallow. 1500764890844.jpg1500764896002.jpg

  2. Started at 6am headed for braddocks. Everyone was shallow. I dropped lines in at 118 temp probe 80 down at 48 degrees. 44 to 49 degrees were the temps in and around 120 to 200, 60 down. No bait around but hooked into 2 small kings 6 and a 7lber one on the dipsey with a spoon and triangle flasher other on the spoon 300 copper. Caught a bonus laker on the 300 copper over 130fow. By 930 am everyone was out deep I scanned 200 250 and 300 with nothing on the screen. Best screen was 120 to 150. Wonder where the bigger kings are.

  3. Headed out at 8am straight out of the genny went east. Water temp was very warm 90 down in front of Durand as soon as we hit in front of I bay temp dropped to 45 to 48 degrees in 130 fow 90 down thats when we took an 9lb king on the dipsey with a mooselook spoon. 2 hits with one laker landed on the 400 copper with a low drag flasher and spoon (another mooselook). 2 other lakers taken on Neils limit moonshine on the rigger down 125 over 130fow. Wind picked up and we headed back. Screen was lit up in front of webster park out in 125 fow when we left. Tomorrow heading out again super early going to try Braddocks.

  5. Stayed at kring point June 24th through 29th lots of perch in 17 to 24 fow. Hardly any bass on the shoals or island points all bass were very inactive staying suspended at 15ft in 20 to 45 fow. Did run into a few way up past chipawa bay. Water temp seemed cold still 65 to 69 surface temp. I tried for pike but could not get a system down. So many spots to choose from and not enough time. I was content with the perch many were good in size and I stayed on them for hours. Next year I'm getting my Canadian license and fishing the other side for pike.
