  1. I made the switch to the Fanny pack but found my self jamming it full making it hard to get anything out. I thought it would be easier during bow as I carry a climber, decoy, backpack , and bow but I eventually switched back to the back pack. I also like to carry water as well as a coffee thermos and food for my all day sits. Usually carry a small hand pruning saw and bow hanger which never fit in my Fanny pack. I will say it was very nice using the Fanny pack when I did but I just felt like I always was missing something I use while out in the woods. Good luck

  2. Well it’s been a long good season... shot three coyotes during bow season. Drew back on a decent buck but no ethical shot to take. Got to hunt with my younger cousin for the first time this year as I believe she has a passion for the sport and got to see a bunch of deer as well. With Covid present the safest thing to do seem to be to go hunting. Brought my wife out this Saturday all day hunting for the first time deer hunting with me( we coyote hunt together late season). Didn’t see much but Saturday but she really pushed me to go hunt Sunday evening for the last day of regular season, so I did. Ended up getting lucky and filling my tag. Hunting by myself tonight did not make it easy to pick up the buck and get it in the back of my truck however. Tires are rated for 50,000 mile tire. They only have 4400 miles on them. Only selling because I change my tire size. These are an excellent all season tire and do incredibly well in the winter.

Tires are pretty much brand new and were even rotated once on the truck.

  4. Well being MIA from the predator seen most of the season I finally went out last night with my wife. Called fox in at two of the three sets missed one at 45 leaving me a discouraged marksman. But my biggest take from last night is I’m still using my original caller (fox pro spit fire) and it occasionally runs a real weird screeching noise on certain calls. Looking to upgrade to something that can project some more volume with clear tone. Anybody got a good take on the fox pro fusion versus the fox pro hammer jack. Also tried out a new quiver critter decoy rabbit that I was very unimpressed with does it seem to make unnatural noise as it shimmies around

  5. Had a nice buck all over a scrap that was 60 yards behind my stand. Only deer I saw. Shot a coyote for the 3rd straight season with the bow. At least this satisfies my kids who have been all over me for never shooting anything. IMG_2148.JPG

  6. With the last cold front and heavy snowfall, I think a lot of our properties have changed within that short weeks time. Do you guys think these deer have changed patterns again potentially into their winter patterns already leaving existing properties for a new? Or are we expecting the deer to return to the properties that seemingly have gone dry?

  7. That picture is also going to be my future. My search Sunday three hours trudging through 2 feet of water in a swamp turned up empty. To make matters worse I pulled the camera 80 yards from the direction he came and got to see exactly which buck he was six minutes before the shot. Unfortunately I’m going to have to go through the rest of the season knowing he was the biggest buck I ever had a chance at. I can only hope he somehow shows back up on camera

  8. Hey guys looking for a little advice. Shot a real nice one this morning as the rain was starting which forces me to track him right away. had good blood for a few hundred yards but ended up losing blood through the rain and to the deep of a swamp. I would have to assume him going that far I missed all vitals but the blood was rather decent the whole way. I want to say the shot may have been high and forwarded. I suppose I will let him sit check again in the morning in that general area
