Show a pic of his teeth...

Hey, it's a start ! Always good to see deer, especially late season!

Oh man, at least I'll get some free bumps out of the deal !
For the record, I DO NOT have any egg sac machines, but for 300$ I will tell you who does.- 1

That's a nice chunk of drop tine !

I only use mine for the short 10day season. I go from field to unheated garage, to basement by furnace. This basically is a day process where I try to keep the temp change controlled. If it's a day or two in between or I hunted in heavy snow or rain, for the cost of powder I will unload and change to fresh. I keep the unused for practice sessions before season and I've never had a missfire. I have a friend that leaves his loaded until he shoots, sometimes all year. He has had MULTIPLE misfires. I'd say play it safe. That buck of a lifetime comes out and gives you a shot, you DO NOT want to hear...."pop".

I figure percentage to retail compared to that ad, this chart is a steal at twice the price. I do admit though, I was a couple hundred too high at 1200...

Haha! Just letting you know...that's a great unit, nonetheless.
And I appreciate it. Like I said, no research was done other than a quick eBay search. I saw alot of gen 3's in the 1500+ range. Ducers can be had for 100-200 depending what you want. I'm hoping to get as much as possible to fund my next endeavour, but I want to be fair. I'll take some offers and see where it goes. -
Well, I might as well start selling egg sac machines ! I didn't do as much research as I should have, just know what I have into it. So it looks like I'll be losing money, but I'll take real cash offers.

Open to reasonable offers

Thinking of selling my hds9 gen 2 touch with insight. Perfect condition. I never ended up using and I'm thinking of going a different direction. Comes with all power cables / manuals / box / cover / mounting bracket etc. No transducer. Asking for best offers. Will post pics tonight. I'm around the buffalo area for pickup. Will ship if needed.

Confidence in your gun makes a big difference. Good luck filling a late season tag, or two !!

i have a TC omega i bought for the starter in line and i still using it . when i first starting shooting the gun i couldn't get no better than a 3 inch group . i was loading the gun with 100 grains of pyrodex and powerbelts cci 209 primers . i switch to 100 grains of triple 7 and hornagy sabots with the xtp bullets . the group got better but not where i wanted it to be . then for some reason i loaded it to max load 150 grains of triple 7 same round the gun became a tack driver . for years now that is what i load 150 grins of triple 7 and 250 gr hornady sst cci 209 primer . i like it so much that i hunt with gun all gun season .
for hang fires i never had one . this is how i load the gun after a wet patch dry patch i use a bore butter patch with no breach plug in . clean breach plug so i can see light threw it . put some breach plug anti seize on it install . then a 150 grains of triple 7 and then put a little bore butter on the sst sabot . then seat the round not to crush the pellets ....
Exact gun, exact issues, exact load, exact outcome.... -

Muzzy's can be a royal pain in the ars. There's a bunch of factors that can effect shooting and accuracy. They best thing to do is start with all NEW caps, powder and sabots. Try and shoot 2 each round then swab the barrel with a wet patch (breech out) and then make sure it's dry with a dry patch.
I learned this the hard way. I spent hundreds on all combos of powder and sabots and only had accuracy out to about 70 yrds, even bought a new scope and rings. I had fliers at 100 and couldn't group. Ended up missing a few good deer too. I heard time after time a magnum charge was a waste as all the powder isn't burned off, yet I met a guy who thought I was nuts for not using 3 pellets. I dialed in at 50 w/3 and long story short I'm grouping at 200 now.... Even shot a nice buck last year at 150. I can also shoot a few different sabots and maintain accuracy. These guns are finiky, and also really really fun to clean.... I think you will be ok and I hope you don't have to experiment like I did. It's costly. -
That's some good time, redneck stuff right there!

Don't be afraid to "pop a cap" in between shots. Sometimes just popping the cap can burn out any leftovers from a loaded shot.

All this talk of predators is getting me in the mood....
