The Dunes are located to the north of the Salmon River near Sandy Pond.

Getting outside of my comfort zone looking for some spoons and stick baits to target browns when the kings are slow on our section of the pond

I’m looking to see anyone is interested in a Pair (2) Eagle Claw 8’6” downrigger rods with twili tips and bass pro strata 30 reels and 1000’ of blood run steel line.

These are my inside deep rod when running double dipseys per side. (Used only about 10 time).

Most rigger cable are rated for 150lbs, the breakaway is rated for 50lb creating a weak spot like previously stated. That breakaway goes on the lower half of your probe to the torpedo weight allowing for a weak connection. X2 for checking rigger cable often while in use. Frays, twists, kinks will dramatically reduce cable strength. Remember to change your cable connections every season.
Lately we’ve been using 60lbs mono between probe and weights! Works great and very cheap to replace.

Does anyone have a clue as to what the weather and waves are going to do tomorrow around Mexico Bay?

I’ve read the reports but as I sit here in camp for the 2nd straight day I’m having second thoughts on a good Bite!!
