I took this rod as a trade and I'm looking at it and do not think its ever even had a reel mounted on it, it appears to be brand new! The tube is missing the cap but aside from that its in what I'll call near excellent condition. Does anyone know if the hole pattern on a Minn Kota quick release mount is the same as the pattern on the actual motor? In other word if I order a QR mount will I need to drill new holes? I emailed them a week ago with no response
