Okuma 30ds will do the trick. Quick reel, handles well, well made.
You could go bigger for more torque or longer line coppers, but a 30 should do you well. I have 30s, 45, and 55s, 30s are nice, 45s are worry free and the larger one is probably overkill for anything other than big copper.

I'd go with 30lb big game line. I haven't had an issue with it. 20lb works, but why risk it?
I suggest the solar collector one - easier to see and prevent tangles before they happen.

Where are you based?

How is the motion through the water on these?
Does the eye impart roll that would work with/against a flasher, or do they swim straight?

Ah. Good luck!
I do have a tackle mate, but it's not for sale . Got it used here on forums, came with a broken latch tab on the lid. I reached out to the manufacturer told them what was going on and that I bought it second hand. They asked for my name and address, and sent me a new one free of charge - top notch service, super fast delivery, couldn't be happier. So if you come across a busted one - that might be worth checking out.

Check out the spoon crank boxes Doug sells (username dhm), there's a classifieds listing not too many posts ago. Basically the same storage idea, more flexibility and a local business. Pretty positive feedback from what I've seen too!

A simple list with the different item types and what you are asking for them is all folks are seeking.
Something such as (fictional prices here)
8" spin doctors -$7 ea
10" spin doctors - $9 ea
Atomic flies- $4ea
Big weenie meat rigs - $8 ea
Michigan stingers- $4 ea
Magnum spoons - $5 ea
Standard spoons - $3 ea
And so on....
No one needs or is asking for a catalog, but these kinds of things can be summarized pretty quickly in list / table format and no need to post a thousand photos.
People aren't often willing, able to, or interested in traveling to view when they can just wait for the next posting or find them on ebay and have shipped to their door in the days of covid.
Just my $.02If you all dont like what I have posted there is no need to post what you have. As for posting some small posts with money that would be fine but it would take me forever to do that. And also LOU doesnt like me to post to many items at once. This is the way LOU wanted me to post my items. Also if it was not for COVID these items would of been at the flea markets

Dumb question, "trench" = ?
I'm not sure about how long it'll last but the fish haven't started staging there yet. The fishing will get better and better as they start moving in staging before their run up the creeks and river.

Tried software update but it wouldn't auto launch into install....
Grew frustrated and gave up after 3 micro sd's were attempted.... will try again later this week, hopefully it helps

Yeah, I thought so too.... had dealer install it and they even put transom saver too high IMO so it's as low as it goes.
For next one I'm going to buy another saver, trim it, and attach down to lower edge, just to give me more room to play. Was a little surprised when I saw this on pickup, but it still picked up fish, just slow speedsYour transducer looks way too high on your transom to me. Mine isn’t nearly that high.

I'm thinking of going with garmin echo uhd 93sv.
I do mostly trolling, walleye and salmon.
Anyone have experience with this unit?
I read good things about HB but cant get back on that horse... lowerance hook2 has some killer clearance now, but I read 50/50 good bad reviews there, not a lot out there on garmin, but what I have seen is pretty positive.

You end up getting this?
In the market now, had seen this model and it intrigued me greatly.
Any feedback, or did you go another direction?
Looking for fishfinder/GPS unit. Looking at the Raymarine Element HV-7. Anybody have any experience with this unit?

Ive used this on several reels with no noticable catch rate difference, only a reduced tangle rate difference
I have fluoro leaders on them though.

Software update is unavailable online, reached out to cust service on monday and have yet to hear back from them....
I am 4 months out of warranty....
Thoughts on best replacement unit at sub 800 pricing anyone (gotta use those cabelas gift cards that ive been saving for a rainy day anyway....)?
Humminbird seems to have mixed reviews but best overall of the brands... i dont NEED mega or SI, i only rarely used the DI on current unit...
I also dont have autopilot or trolling motor. Would consider AP, but thats probably long down the road.

Very informative video. Chapters make it super easy to navigate and hit highlights of interest.
Thanks for putting this together!
As someone still learning the scene these can be of tremendous value to learning how put fish in the boat.
