  1. Eire was slow lots of logs fished 7pm to 1am landing only 1 fish slow start for erie was one of two boats out. Water needs to warm up ibay should be productive right now cast towards shore in certain spots fish stick baits super slow retrieve. Ibay is good for eyes they need to be bled out to taste good you will catch a lot of sheephead remeber state record was caught in ibay but was beat last year. I constantly catch sheeps over 10lbs.

  2. I literally just asked the same question that's where I'm planning to go for the opener I was originally going to go to Lake Erie but I heard theres ice chunks still I've only been to Honeoye once and I was casting to Shore with stick baits only Landing one walleye but about 10 Largemouth if I go I'm going to troll with all stick baits or spoons Erie dearies or harnesses going to have side planers and downriggers.

  3. We fished on the west side of devil's nose and went 4-7 in about 3 hours. One king around 17-18lbs. And then a bunch of browns. Lost a nice king on a stick bait. It had the drag screaming and just came unbuttoned. Fish gave us quite an acrobatic show. 0423190853a_HDR.thumb.jpeg.b4b2ff28060a097835657af9a4681b4f.jpeg

  4. Ok so whats the deal with water clarity? Yesterday i trolled the shoreline with chocolate milk colored water for browns lots of marks and bait no takers. I moved out deeper to try to find better water clarity but it took forever and was way out in 40fow. Should i of stayed in shallow does water clarity really matter? I understand it does to an extent but should i of just kept cruising in shallow. Thanks in advance for any input!

Its looking like webster out of i bay heading east was better. Hard fishing today but cant complain landing that nice king. Anyone else with luck?IMG958185.jpeg

  6. I agree people just have to ruin it for the rest of us. I just looking forward to a prosperous season gambler! Hope to see you out there i know your always looking out for me. Another week and i will be trolling for browns out of the port of Rochester.

I think the regulation sucks because there are some tribs that hold perch and you can not fish a bottom rig or drop shot them. It sucks. I understand why they have it but it just screws guys fishing a legit method.
