Does anyone has any experience with the AFTCO Fishing Flatline Clip FL1B. My question is this release adjustment sensitive and light enough to be used for salmon?
-
Nice trip, thank you for sharing. Now I need to fish for I's.

I used three riggers and 2 cores from 2/3/4. I also run a rapula in the tail gunner.

The weather was beautiful. The water was flat and dirty. I ran a sonar past in the bay and it was full of fish. We trolled the lake for 3 hours did not mark a fish. I ran east of the inlet in 10 to 40ft fow for 3 hours. Landed one small salmon on a small blue/white spoon. The picture shows most of the spoons I dropped. Your thoughts are appreciated.

With the warm forecast for Tuesday, I am thinking of another last trip to Lake Ontario. I have not fished the lake this late. I will going to be launching out of Fair Haven. Your thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you the airmar calculator. 👍

I am looking for bottom clarity in deep water.
-
I agree. Have you used it and is the clarity improvement significant. I have a medium chirp and I am considering a low chirp. There a big ticket item and I do not want to regret the purchase.

I am considering a transducer upgrade from a traditional Altmar B60 to a Altmar B175L.
First is anyone using a B175L?
Second do you consider the B175L an improvement over a traditional 50-200 B60?
Thank you for your time. I will value the feedback from anyone willing to share.

I have a Simrad ap12 with a mechanical drive rotory cable steer. I am looking into retrofit the steering to a Garmin Reactor 40 Mechanical/Retrofit/Solenoid Corepack Without GHC 20, 010-00705-48 and my Garmin 7600.
Is anyone running this autopilot retrofit. I am hoping to be able to use the pattern features the available with 7600 sonar.

Please provide the $69 hotel contract information.

You can count the number line lever passes and measure the line out per pass. Example 4' per pass x 25 passes = 100 feet out.
20 passes = 80 feet out.

Does anyone on this thread have a preference for the standard or the extreme shark.

Hey guys thank you. This is a great thread. Its like being one on one at salmon school. So I am thinking 3 black and one chrome down the middle when needed.

Do not forget the other water pumps, ex. Deck wash down.

Thank you for the feedback. I am setting up to troll deeper. (+80) Do you think the chrome, black, or white color shark make any difference below 80?

Looking to get your opinion on the shark cannonballs and it's advertised advantage. If the general opinion supports the shark attractant advantage then what setup would you recommend for a 3 rigger combination. (Weights and colors)

Where are the weights and where are they located. I have two 10lb sharks and two 12lb torpedoes if your interested.

Hi Nick, thank you the feedback. I am think of using them to run long coppers on outriggers and plainers. I am looks to be able to adjust the lengths on the fly. No more pulling them in to change form 300-600. Just reel to the length you need for the depth of the fish you just mark.
