I know this is a post from a couple years ago, I was wondering if anyone could tell me where they buy their food plot seeds? I’m hoping to put in my first food pot next year and didn’t know if you were able to buy seeds locally or do you order them online? I live in the Syracuse area. Also, I’m looking to do this no till method.

No luck on the 9 point. Had this little guy tailing a doe this morning in front of my stand. Maybe this weekend.

Farmer spread manure on the fields surrounding 3 sides of the property that I hunt on Wednesday and I have not seen a single deer on camera since a buck was there that day. Not even a doe. Hunted all weekend and saw nothing. Then today the same buck showed back up at 10:30 am 20 yards from my stand. Seeing the weather for the week I already put in for a sick day for tomorrow last Friday. Hopefully he and I can meet up tomorrow.🤞🏻He’s the most consistent buck I’ve seen this summer.

I haven’t targeted bass at all yet this year, but did pick up 3 in the 8-10” when I was perch fishing in the spring.

Looks like a nice day together. Nothing beats enjoying the outdoors with the people you’re close with. Congrats Kevin.

Great job Kevin! I’ll be heading up tomorrow after work for the weekend hopefully I’ll be able to pick up a couple as nice as those.

Nice buck Kevin. I got out last weekend with the crossbow down here in Southern tier, had a couple does and a spike go by, but everything was  80-90 yards out. Hope I get the same opportunities next weekend when gun opens.

That’s awesome Kevin. Your pictures remind me of when I was a kid and my cousin and I used to go stay with my grandparents in Chaumont Bay. Making memories they will remember for ever. Glad to see the younger generations still interested in the outdoors. As a teacher I feel like I see less and less of my students every year that are interested in hunting and fishing. Unless they are doing it on a video game.😂

Got a chance to go out last night with my wife and father. Picked up 4. Lost number 5 at the boat. My wife got her first eye.

Nice eyes Kevin. I just wanted to thank you for all the information you have shared. Without it I know I would’ve never caught these fish. I finally got a chance to get back out on the water this weekend. It was my first successful night with walleyes on the river. Saturday night my father and I picked up three a 21”, 22”, and a 26”. Went back out Sunday night and picked up a 25”. All off the same spot. My 26 inch and my fathers 25 inch were personal best for both of us.

Glad to see you guys are still catching them. When I got up to my place Friday afternoon I found a broken water line in the basement and 3’ of water. Spent the weekend starting to cleaning that mess up. Hopefully I’ll get back out again soon. 

Nice work Kevin. Are you finding them in the 30-40’ range? I’ve been out a few times over the past two weekend, but have only picked up some bass. No eyes. Hoping to give it another shot this weekend if the weather is decent.

Great job Kevin. Those are really nice fish. It’s really impressive how well you have them dialed in. I tried for eyes Saturday night and marked some fish, but no luck. Being new to walleye fishing I still need some practice to get the technique down better. Running the boat in the current, reading the depth finder, watching for other boats, and fishing in the dark definitely takes a lot of skill. Hope I can get to your level at some point. Much respect.

I talked my wife into going with me for walleyes last evening. Didn’t get any, but did we did get a couple bass and my wife caught her first pike. Which is also the biggest fish she’s ever caught. Now she’s hooked. She trying to figure out when’s the next time we can go back out and wants to call in sick to go fishing. 😂
