I have never caught a single fish using flashers, or dodgers anywhere, and have tried them everywhere, must be me?  But I do have pretty okay luck trolling spoons that are 2.25" - 4.5". We get them on every color in the box some days, and none of them on other days. When I get out there, I run a spread of everything, and let the fish tell me what they want, hopefully.                 Mostly fish Cayuga, but also visit some ADK lakes when we feel like camping. Go with what usually works for you and have fun.

☺Two Big Jon Otter Boats, and Dual Planer Mast.  

One Otter Boat is brand new, never used, and the other is a couple years old but functions perfectly.    Both Otter Boats have a single keel.                The mast is in awesome shape, got new line last year, and includes mounting base.

Last year, fleas were bad, sometime couldn't even reel in downrigger lines. This year I ran 12 lb berkley vanish, and had almost no fleas on Cayuga, and Owasco. Don't know if it was the line, or just less fleas?  More weed problems than anything else. The fleas don't seem to bother 18 lb leadcore, or copper lines at all
