Shasta Lake Calif. 5-15 to 5-17

The wife and I made the long drive to Shasta ,9 miles. The outside temp was in the 100s

surface temp at 69.7 degrees and I never even put a line in the water all weekend . I have never seen this lake so empty of people in my life time. The lake was almost like glass all weekend with the emerald green water .

Ray the Lake has come up over 100 feet so far. it's only 50 feet below the crest of the Dam
