Sounds like the DEC is looking into a permit to treat the water chestnut invasive species in Long Pond. Treating 25 acres sometime near end of July.

pretty wild seed. Almost thought it was going to start crawling around. Hoist was in the water for a couple weeks and it had a few on it. There is a pile of weeds near the parkway bridge.
