Anyone in the Sodus area started to see some kings around? Wondering if the west wind Friday and this upcoming week is starting to pull them from the west end yet.

Launched today 6/25/25 next to Arnies at 5:30am and headed straight out. Set up in 80fow and trolled NW out to 250fow.  Picked up a small coho in 100fow on 10 color leadcore.  Never had another bite.  Lots of bait but few marks. Was running leadcore, 4 rods on riggers and dipsy. Water temp at surface was 61deg and down 70’ was 58deg. Lowest temp I saw was 55deg.
something odd happened:  while checking my dipsy a large fish, looked like a king, jumped clean out of the water about 75’ behind my boat. I quickly scanned my other rods thinking I might have hooked him, I had not.

Not much action at all but always nice to be on the water.
