wirer rod

you should run the same thing as on the big lakes reason i say this is you want the longer rods to clear riggers and you'll still be pulling a #1dipsy so you'll need a rod with some back bone too it , basicly the same thing maybe Ray K will chime in here he dose both and i beleave he use's all the same stuff from lake to lake . hope this helps some

My favorite wire rod is the 9'6" Daiwa Heartland MH.

Good price/value and it's got the beef to whip the bigguns.

You can probably get a season or more out of it before you'll need a twilly tip.
