Got out early today to Sandy creek and what a buetiful morning it was. On the zoomed in picture notice the smokestack on the horizon, where is that from russlel station?

Hey Jax. thanks it was a great sunrise, i have a few more awesome pics like that, i will post them. I look foreward to meeting some of you fellow LOU members out there. I cant believe you can see that power plant from this far away, i see that plant when i go to my cottage, That is a long boat ride.

Beautiful pics. Hard to believe that's Oswego. I figure over 30 miles straight line by nautical charts.

check your camera there is a real bright spot in the middle of the shot sorta looks like ummm whats it called havent seen it forever... :idea:

I can see the stack at the coal plant near Olcott every day. Many people tell me it's steam, but steam doesn't produce black clouds going east. However I can tell the real direction of the wind by just looking west every day. - Mick

Half the time, you can definatly see the somerst stack fishing out of Sandy. The stack is 35 miles away! :shock:
