passport needed??

would like to fish the scotty's do i need a passport to fish canadian waters?? if so, were should i start to get one.may sound naive but never really wanted one or needed one--thanks in advance rollie

yes, just go to the post office, it takes about 3 weeks right now

a enhanced drivers license will also get u over the boarder without problems.. took less than a week to get

The Enhanced driver's license works fine. You get a temp. enhanced license (paper type) at the DMV and permanent comes in the mail within 10 days. If you plan on going to other countries though, then I would suggest a passport, but for Canada, the enhanced license is adequate.

If you have a CDL the enhanced license may cost $200. Passport card costs about $50 lock-stock-and barrel and is good for 10 years don't get scammed by NYS!

i went to the DMV yesterday and got my enhanced license. You need your birth certificate social security card or a resent w-2 and a couple of pieces of mail with your name and address on them. it was pretty easy and cost $40.00. It will get you in canada if you drive. It is no good if you fly.
