what are you guys doing about the fleas....they were crazy this weekend...i have resorted to using leadcore setups mostly just to keep lines in the water without cleaning fleas every 15 minutes..any input to avoid the fleas would be greatly appreciated you guys using a certain line to avoid them???

My McCoy didn't collect an ounce of fleas this weekend. However, my power pro riggers were LOADED. Wires weren't too bad as long as they were firing. Other than that i would check them every 30 minutes.

my buddy uses 30lb big game and he didn't have an issue on sunday. I had a horrible time with my 20lb out of rochester.

You can get special "flea-flicker" line made by Cortland. Its a shaped line that the fleas have a hard time sticking too. I run 20lb test with no problems.

That flea flicker line is junk after u use it and let it set for a day or two it seems like the line dry's out and breaks easy that's just my opion!!!
