whats another lure i should use for pike just trying to find one at a time

I like to fish pike with buzz baits. They are best in the morning and late in the afternoon (like bass fishing). If you get a good size pike trailing you heart will race for sure.

You have a choice of using the various lures as mentioned by Gambler and Gray Fox or a live bait. I have more success using spinner bait. You could set up a live bait using a bobber and a suckers or pike(large) minnows on a hook. Set up one rod with a live bait on the bobber and use other rod for casting various lures.

Look for the weedlines and target these area.

Overcast days are my favorite condition to target the pike.

I like large single blade spinner baits. The ones with a yellow and red shirt seem to work best for me over the last couple of years.
