Catching fish or fishermen?

I was wondering when you buy one of the years new color flasher, fly or spoon; do you fish it hard, just give it a try and go back to old faithful or try it every once in while.

I seem to buy them and when nothing else is working I will try one of the new ones.

Green and white always produce and thats what I go with. Allthough I bought a CB set up and a carmal dolphin set up. Haven't givin them enough time in the water.

I try them a little, and if they don't produce they go back in the box. BUT when the fishing is really good I will throw them down to see if they do produce.

Good question Rick. I think that you could get by year after year with a yellow, green and a white echip (or flasher of choice) and some green fly.

I know a guy that runs a small spoon - i dont even know which one behind a yellow spin dr and he is always catching fish on that set up. Me - I never catch fish on a flasher/spoon........Why?...... Cause I never run one!!
