SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

I had heard that the Salmon fishing was less than stellar out of Sodus the end of the week, so I thought Id try something different and go for browns. Set it up in 40 feet right out of the channel- the browns started biting early (first fish by 5:50) and never really stopped biting all morning. My 120 dipsey on setting 2.5 was the hot rig- took 6 of the 7 fish.

Nothing special as far as size was concerned- all 4-7 lbs- But i figured that a bigun might be in there and win me some money in the derby.

Used a Savant spoon for the first time ever and man was it hot. I went and bought a half dozen more....

The Browns were all beautiful- really starting to get their color. Hopefully when i go Tuesday I can report on how colored up the Salmon are!!

Heres a few of them
