I am coming in from Cleveland Thurs. and was wondering if anyone had any reports for Olcott. I heard the lake rolled last week but was just wondering what the program was. Any advise or pointers to look out for, after the lake rolls would be appreciated. We fished there in the spring and did fairly well. I was hoping to come back for for some matures now in the fall.

We were there after the roll last weekend and it sucked. We did hook up with a couple of nice fish inside but lost both of them. Our best luck was down by the bar. It was one tough Saturday in that fog. We did go deep about 350-400 and boated some nice steelhead. We marked alot of fish right in front of Olcott in 70 fow but could not get them to go. Good luck to you and I bet this weekend they will be killing them.

Just got back. No good. Fished for 4 hours without even a nock off. Tried everywhere from 100-370, ran back in close and tried draging bottom in 70-100, still no luck. Overheard two charter capt's talking at the dock, they didn't have any better luck, one or two apiece. You know when the pay boats are having trouble finding fish it's bad.
