Jigging Cayuga 9/8

Made a solo quickie trip in the 16' over today and Wow are there some big heavy lakers out there right now! Had to reorient myself at first (haven't been jigging since last labor day!) but eventually figured out just how far south the fish have wandered and then laced into them, best I could do was approx 31-33" but wide as a whale, released them all at the side of the boat but what a blast! Most of my hookups came on the retrieve, some up at only 20', just when you are really starting to slack off, wham!

Nice job. I have to make a trip to Cornell Friday and hope to do a little jigging first. If you don't mind telling,where did you launch and fish. Thanks.

Pequod, I Launched out of Meyers b/c it's convenient, fish are not far from T-Falls State Park, not sure how you are set up, but I don't like drops over 90', found lots of fish around 75-85 FOW.
