How lateis too late?

Recommended Posts

It is never too late, until the ice comes that is. There are still plenty of immature kings out in the deeper water along with those steelhead. Dont forget about pulling plugs in the shallow water as well for the mature kings, but that will be coming to an end in the next few weeks. And to answer your other question, yes planer boards are still very usable. Along with pulling spoons, and j-plugs behind them for the kings, browns are also in the shallow waters ready to follow the kings up the river. Just like in the spring they hang out in the 5-15 foot range during the morning and low light hours and they will push out to about 30-50 during sun up or mid day. You can pull your sticks (black and silver) is still the hot ticket!!!!! Hope this info helped you a bit, good luck and tight lines!!!!
