I let my Net down today and feel bad about it. Not one time did it get wet, I had the feeling when I started the day just like any other time I hunt for big browns. So for me I brake out the big lures 6" and 7" stick Baits, Ran them off the planer boards running 30' of water all day. Had 3 take downs and nothing to show for it. The day started off with a great north wind coming down the McCloud arm of the lake, with a good one foot swells and white caps. Ideal for the big fish. I had a awesome time on the water by myself today, plenty of sunshine with surface temps at 56 degrees.
