Braddocks and Long Pond ice

These places were a mess today, I wanted to fish but just wasnt going do deal with it. Heavy slush over your ankles with lots of water on top of the good ice. These conditions are going to be tough on the area waters. Watch your step on the old holes as some are getting large.

actually slopped my way onto the bay! your are right it sucks out there ! hopefully it will get better before pike season ends.
