spent the day on the water with my son and my brother. started the day hooking up on my new wire rig. I quickly learned that i need to use larger swivels. I lost my new dipsey, black/green dots sd, and fly. later on we doubled up on the wire rigs, so that made up for it a little. sort of a slow pick all day. we ended up 15-18, with 2 LL's about 4-5 lbs each. most came on bigweenie flies, but we did manage a couple(including 1 LL) on a black and green with white bottom spoon. my 4 yr. old son got to reel in a few which made everyones day ran the new simrad ap14, and it woked flawlessly!! hopefully, weather permitting, we will be back on the water next weekend. it was great to see so many fishermen, and l.o.u. members at the launch that morning. ps, sorry i don't have any pics, gotta start carrying the camera.
