Cayuga Report, May 2nd

Recommended Posts

Trolled sticks and stingers off planner boards and went 14 for 17. Caught 2 nicer fish, a Brown right at 10lbs and a LL that was just shy of 8lbs. Here a couple of pics, I don't think my nephew will forget this day of fishin' for a long time.

Fished south end May 1 from about 6am to 11:30am.Hooked 3 salmon.2 short one keeper. All on the east side. The 2 short ones on a small stickbait straight back about 8' down over 20 FOW.The keeper I got jigging with a jig red jig head with a swim bait. That one was over 120 FOW.Marked a lot of fish in 120-140 FOW.From about 40 - 140 feet down.

Tough go fo it this morning, cold water on the west side, warm on the east but not much going on. One decent LLS and lost two good fish off a 2 color core w/a stinger watermelon and then ..... the rain came fast and furious. Visibility down to about 20' at one time.
