Can someone help me interpret the screen shot of my garmin FF below? This was taken just off of I-Bay on 5/29.

looks like a bait ball at 30ft and big fush chasin...get rid of the fish id and use the arches instead,,,easier to read and lets you know whats down there in more detail..and so long 4 now;john

i agree you must lose the fish ID in order to see the true image. I think they just put that on there to get everyone exicted thinking there is fish there. I like when you go over a clump of weeds and its solid fish -

The fish ID is junk, seriously, ditch it.. it is totally bogus.

You 50Hz screen seems to show a trace going into a baitball... I have seen it before..Looks like a laker or other fish, picking a straggler off.

Otherwise, its a business as usual screen, baitballs with a few predators nearby

This is why you turn that feature off:

Going very very slow, one rigg'r with probe was at 45, other at 50. When it was turned off, I had 3 lines across the screen. (possibly a fish at 80, one on the bottom possibly a log)

Leave it on if you want some "entertainment" or want to see an inexpeienced crew go
