SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

We almost hit for the Lake-O cycle but no lakers. Good fishing today - we pushed it a bit further offshore to see if the fish would be a little bigger. Good steady action with a very strong rigger bite (85',95',105,115') for the entire day. Moved the riggers a little deeper after 8:30 AM. Sliders were steady - highlight of the day was two fish on one rod - an 8-9# steelhead and an even bigger king!! Both fish were doing acrobatics and it was a heck of a fight. We landed the steelhead but lost the king at the back of the boat fumbling around.

The wire bite started hot right out of the chute, but cooled off after 7 AM.

Best lures were a DW SS Dirty White boy (both white and silver back) cheated above a NK 42 sec. spoon, NBK both Mag. and standard size caught fish, DW SS Black Magic cuaght one or two, DW SS 42 sec., DW SS Gator, DW SS Wonderbread cheated above our 115' rigger also took two or three.

The fleas were back a little bit today but suprisingly were sticking more to the rigger cables than the lines - I'm not sure why.

Good luck to all,

- Chris

Fishing is still good - it was a great day to be on the water

Great work out there, Chris!

You had done a Grand Slam with all four species on your boat! Now, do we need four counters to keep track of each species? BTW, the counters has arrived in the mail yesterday.

tight lines.
