Yup all gone and yes the lake is tooooo hi for this time of year. I had to rescue my neighbors jet ski yesterday as it had floated off the lift and was headed to Ithaca.

we get a big blow and folks are going to have damage. Its about 8 inches above summer level.

The water levels are way up. The links below have info on the CNY water management.

See:http://www.canals.ny.gov/faq/oswego/netdata/cayuga-levels.pdf

Ya may have to navigate for specific info.

Yup. Seneca river is up about 6ft over summer levels. Water moves so slow at 3 rivers north of syr (nonexistent gradient) and is so flat that it would flood out a wide swath of the local area if they let it flow free this time of year. So they hold the water upstream of B'ville which has more capacity (albeit on people's lawns). With that at (beyond) capacity, cayuga lake gets it's turn next.

This is the link to a USGS site a little down river of the lake.

I've been out to camp on Cross lake last 2 Fridays to check on things and water is way up, as expected with the winter being as it was. Cross Lake was still iced up Friday, which may help with waves, but there sure is a lot of H2O in the system now.

A neighbors swim platform stored in his lawn is now about 6 camps down near us.

Hope all this H2O makes it to the Big O uneventfully.
