Is Walleye season open during the LOC?

I think the Spring LOC runs from April 31st - May 8th.

I believe Pike season opens the 1st Saturday in May which would be May 7th.

LOC starts Friday the 29th Shade. I believe you are right with the first Sat. of May being the pike opener, so they would overlap for a couple days.

I guess nobody checked the calendar when they planned for the LOC, with Walleye being one of the prize categories

I think you could win the walleye category with a 3 lb fish, I have never seen anyone weigh walleye for the LOC derby spring summer or fall, but I could be wrong.

They only have it for the spring and it just returned last year after not being a prize category for years
