====================Fishing continues to be great no matter where you go, east or west out of rochester. I had 2 kings, one 20lb west and one 16lb east. I also caught a beautiful fat 13lb and change walleye. I would vote for the black and silver sticks were best. It was also nice to see a couple of lakers on the beach looking for food as well. The browns were fat and healthy with several year classes showing up. The cohoes are a little on the small size compared to previous years. The monster alewives started showing up in yesterdays fish. I have also seen a fair number of small smelt in them as well. Alot of clients are happy. The bite is definately on, big time. GO FISH

For us, depends on water clarity. If the water is clear, boards are a must. If we have some color, anyplace in the water is working. We were getting hits in the stained water before even hooking lines into releases. In the clear water, we used long leads and boards out 100+.
