Trolling weight Subtroll

We added a Subtroll last year and I don't like how far it pulls back, how big of a weight do you use with it or does any size weight make an improvement?

The coated cable creates a lot of blowback. 10 lb balls drop back a lot, but 20 lb sharks don't. Use the heaviest weights your riggers can handle to reduce the effect.

on my cannon mag 10a i run a 13# torpedo weight that i get fron atomik or any tackle shop in the oswego area. they work pretty good

Torpedo shaped weights (even Herbie's) will have less blowback than balls.

I run 12 lb sharks which are much better than the old round tens i had but still get blowback with my sub troll probe. Thinking I might try heavier hope the Big Jons are up to the challenge
