Between Salmon Point and Sand Banks - South of Wellington

Does anyone fish this area? I have never fished Lake Ontario and would love to get into some Salmon and Trout action. I am heading to Quinte's Island Campark for a few days with the wife and dog and will try Lake O for the first time.

Any reports on this area would be greatly appreciated. Love the forum - been reading it for a few days now.

The fishing has been really hot in the past few days at the Scotch Bonnet. Just point you're boat to the west when coming out from Wellington. Lots of fish, & big fish!!. Good luck
