Dont spin your wheels in the Oswego for skis. Never heard of one from there. Try the St. Lawrence but that fishery is in trouble now with the vhs, numbers are way down. Good luck (we dont have enough musky waters here)

I realize this is a Lake Ontario forum, but considering the number of members here that fish all over the region, I'm hoping someone can give me some into. (Admins, if this topic would be better in a different subforum, please feel free to move it).   Anyway, we'll be fishing out of Dunkirk this Saturday on Erie's eastern basin for Spring Lakers and I was wondering if any of you have fished out of this port before. Mainly trying to figure out some good general zones to target Char but

Hey folks, new to the forum, not sure how this community slipped under my nose for so long. Im looking for some pointer's on trolling. I know a glass rod is almost a must, but what lengths do you guys use for what? I'm looking at the same rod in a 7'6 and 9'. Is either a better all arou

Been fishing out of Oswego the last 3 days.  Fish are scattered from 200-500 feet of water. There also coming from the ice water. Meat in 42 degree water has taken 90 % of our fish. A couple spoon bites.. Can’t buy a flasher fly bite. Nothing big yet for kings. All about the same in the high teens and low 20’s. Not seeing any staging fish yet. We will get 1 more  day in tomorrow before the big cold front comes through with big NW winds tomorrow evening and big waves Thursday and Friday.
