SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS Fished out of Fair Haven this afternoon. Tough fishing. Only saw a few other boats out. Water was COLD. I had 45 degrees down 23 feet most of the night. Marked quite a bit of bait but almost no fish. The only hit I got was a 6 lb steelie on a nk glowfrog down 20. Super nice night on the lake. Wish the fishing would have been better. Probably my last trip of the year.

I was out there from 8-3. We didn't do well either...5 lbs king and a 4 lbs steel. We dropped in 80 fow and worked out to 350. I wished i would've started out in the 400-500 range. I think the fishing was good out there in the morning.

Hey Al,

Haven't talked to ya all summer! Glad to see you got out! If you guys want kings, I would suggest trailering to the Salmon River (did pretty well the last two weekends), otherwise head out until you find good temps - As you saw, lots of cold water inside right now.

we also fished fairhaven on 9/10... it was aweful no fish hooked no fish landed.

the water was freezing way out to 250-300, good bait in 60-70 but no fish

Hey Tim- Every year I say I'm going to drop the boat over there for the last month but I never do. Get the lazies. Saw your report from Labor day weekend. Crazy!!!!! Bet you guys slept good that night

Yeah, we had rubberbands for arms! We're heading up there one last time this coming weekend (weather depending) before we call it a year - just can't seem to put the rods away!
