I have a bass tournament on oneida in october but never fished there in the fall. any tips?

Forget the Bass,get a bucket of minnows and fish for perch . Through a pail full of perch on the scale at weight in and you'll be the Man!!! Good luck . Oh, get a GPS with a map of the lake with all the good spots marked. I never fished for bass there but I caught a lot of them casting white bucktail jigs fishing for Eye's. Have a great time and check your map for all the rock piles out there, they'll eat your prop.

shakelton shoals is a hot spot for them in the summer if you are after smallies. i hammer them while i am walleye fishing, it is north west out of the south shore state boat launch, right about middle of the lake. you will see boats on it.
