Dumb Deer

Has anyone noticed that the deer are really clueless this year. you can make noise and everything and they still come right up to you haha. or is it just me

Not sure where you are hunting, but you certainly don't get away with that stuff where I hunt in Livingston County...

Sometimes when you blink at the wrong time you are screwed...

Nope its not you! Your in the 28th district and have had Democratic representation since 1973!! So it stands to reason the deer are clueless as is the representation Good observation.

Are they yearlings or mature deer? I've had yearling walk right up to me when I've been scouting or walking out in the morning to where I could have grab them! Had two of them last night in one of my ground hunting spots come out, see me and walk up to about 5 yards to see what I was.

Those golf course deer you are hunting are use to people being around and the ambient noise produced around the links.

Hunting near NYS parks, like Hamlin, and in tourist towns like Old Forge,...yeah, you can say the deer are not wary of you. All you need is a bag of peanuts and a Sharp knife.

BUT don't bring your dog with you during the spring birthing season.....maybe a cat is ok. This is why.
