State of the Lake Meetings!

Just hung up with Dave Lemon our Region 7 Fisheries Manager. The press release is a little late getting out and the meetings are EARLIER this year.

Here are the Dates:

February 22- Oswego/Mexico Boces- 7pm 179 County Route 64 Mexico, NY 13114

February 28- Rochester RIT- Tuesday, February 28, 2012: 7 – 9:30 p.m. at the Ingel Auditorium, in Building 4 (Student Union) on the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) campus, Rochester (Monroe County). The meeting is co-hosted by RIT and the Monroe County Fishery Advisory Board.

March 1- Lockport 6:30 Cornell Cooperative Extension, 4H Building in Lockport, NY. 4485 Lake Ave (Rte 78), Lockport, NY 14094

He appoligized that this hasnt gotten out a little sooner with the short notice on the Eastern end.

Thanks Brian. It is very important to attend as many of these as you can, and at least your nearest one. I have heard from several DEC people that the interest level of the public can be a big factor in ongoing management.
