ridgeback weight

does anyone have any experience with the ridgeback downrigger weights ,are they any better than any other weight or just good old marketing hype to sell them please help and thank you

ridgeback weight's are all i use tracking is good 13lb.

do you think they make a diffrence on number of fish that bite or follow

When we first bought them we watched a few fish follow for quite some time. I even watched a Coho go from 15' to 90' to hit my rigger in a Niagara Pro Am event. I don't think they are going to get fish to jump into your boat, but sometimes changing up a dead program with one has helped a few guys. It's one of those things we can't prove, but if it works then roll with it.
