Jose Wejebe- Thanks for the great shows

Cpt. Wejebe was killed last friday when his single engine airplane crashed on takeoff in the Florida Keys.

I thought his fishing show- "The Spanish Fly" was one of the best, right up there with Flip Pallot's "The Walker's Cay Chronicles"

Oh man..didn't know that. really enjoy his sat am shows..good guy. Prayers for his loved ones

He had a great commercial out for a while that had him laying in a hammock, saying how he never dreamed, and then they rolled highlights of all these fish he caught and things he did. He said something along the lines of, “why would I dream, look what I do every day.â€

Or he would say “sweet happy redfish goodness,†or just “sweet happy goodness†when ever he caught a fish.

He is missed already and my DVR is set for all his shows he had.

Peace in the seas of heaven Jose, you are closer to the fish Gods now.

I have watched his tribute twice. Quite an impressive life. I always enjoyed his shows but watching this tribute really enhanced my feeling for his passion for the sea.
